Why BS dates matter in payroll and accounts.

BS months do not line up with AD months, so a payroll month, a TDS month or a VAT period counted in AD will drift from the one your filings use. Keeping the books in BS from the start avoids converting at the end.

Each fiscal year carries its own salary tax slabs. A payroll run in FY 2083/84 uses the 2083/84 slabs, and runs from earlier years keep theirs.
