How does EK ERP handle the TDS slabs for 2083/84?
Salary tax slabs are stored per fiscal year, and each payroll run uses the slabs of its own fiscal year. For 2083/84, a single person's slabs are 1%, 10%, 20%, 27% and 29%, with the first NPR 10,00,000 taxed at 1%. When a budget changes the slabs, the new fiscal year gets a new table and earlier years keep theirs.
Does EK ERP calculate SSF?
Yes. For staff enrolled in the Social Security Fund, each payroll run works out the employee and employer SSF contributions from the salary and deducts the employee share before net pay.
Does it work in Bikram Sambat?
Yes. Pay periods, leave years, due dates and the fiscal year are stored in Bikram Sambat, with the AD date shown alongside. The fiscal year runs from Shrawan to Ashadh.
